Inside The Project Supernova - La Nuit Ableton Remake
1) Bass

Bass and Sub run in unison on F0 (with G0 accents) through the main groove, stacking for extra weight — both built on Serum 2 with Kickstart 2 sidechain. In the pre-drop build-up, both layers shift to a G#–A–A# progression, but split an octave apart, widening and intensifying the low end before the drop.
2) Piano

Chords progression: G# → A → G#
The progression opens on a G# major voicing (G#–B#–D#), shifts to a chord built around A, then arpeggiates G#–A–A# heading into the build-up — all on Serum 2. Chromatic G#–A–A# moves in the build-up add tension, matching the track's dark, hypnotic "night" character.
3) Guitar

A short, syncopated plucked motif — G2, D2, F2, F2 — repeats as a two-bar loop throughout the track, built entirely on Serum 2 to mimic a guitar's pluck. The off-grid timing gives it a loose, live feel rather than a rigid quantized riff — a simple melodic hook that keeps the groove moving.
4) Synth

A standalone chord stab — G#3, C4, F4 — built on Serum 2, popping in at a few key moments across the arrangement. It's not tied to any other harmonic layer; it just adds its own short, punchy accent that fills out the track's texture.
5) Drums

Steady four-on-the-floor kick, claps on 2 and 4, and offbeat open hats form the core groove, while a dense 16th-note hat layer and ten extra Perc tracks add shuffle and movement. Snare, crash and ride hit as accents. Full MIDI included — swap in your own samples over this groove.
This drum section captures the groove and timing of the original production.
