1) Low End

The main Bass is created in Serum 2, using a square wave combined with a Complex Sine wave for additional harmonics. Following the harmony Bm – Em – D – E in a classic house rhythm, a moderate 50% Kickstart sidechain to the kick creates a tight, groovy movement without over-ducking the bass. The kick sample itself features an additional noise character, adding an acoustic feel and extending its body without creating unnecessary low-end buildup.

2) Drums

The drums deliver a classic four-on-the-floor groove with no additional percussion or unnecessary accents, keeping the main groove focused on the Bass and Instruments without overcrowding the mix. A heavily filtered Crash adds subtle accents while staying out of the spotlight.duction.

3)Instruments

The main harmony is carried by the Chords preset in Serum 2, with filter and macro automation allowing a single instrument to play different parts in the verse and chorus. In the drops, a classic house piano built from two Serum 2 layers adds a rhythmic pulse that works naturally with the Bass. The Melody preset, created entirely in Serum 2 using a simple saw wave and extensive internal effects, adds development and groove through filter automation and a syncopated pattern.
