1) Bass

Built on a custom Serum 2 preset, the bass is split into two distinct parts that trade off through the arrangement. The groove part drives the buildups, choruses and the first half of the verses with a rolling progression — D#1 → D#2 → B1 → A#1 → F#1 → F1 — locking straight into the Tech House groove. The melody part takes over in the second half of the chorus, shifting to a more melodic run — B1 → A#1 → F#1 → G#1 — dropping back like a pocket after the intensity of the chorus, giving the arrangement a moment to breathe before building again.

2) Slap Bass

A second Serum 2 preset, "Sharp Bass," plays the same progression as the groove bass part, swapping in a sharper, snappier tone that shifts the character and adds extra movement to the track.

3) Synth Stab

A Serum 2 "Synth Stab" preset — a simple element built from layered wavetable and sample oscillators with a fast, punchy envelope. It doesn't play often, but underlines the track's harmony, adding depth and space every time it hits.

4) Drums

The drums follow a driving Tech House blueprint built for the club: a steady four-on-the-floor kick anchors the groove, while snare and clap are layered together on the backbeat for a fuller, punchier accent. Closed hats keep a constant 16th-note pulse running underneath, with open hats punctuating the off-beats to add lift and swing. Mid and high percussion layers add extra rhythmic texture and movement, and a drum impact marks the intro for a strong entrance. Functional, tight and groove-first — a solid example of how Tech House drums are built to move a dancefloor.

Mid Perc

A great example of how a simple percussion element can add extra melodic character — this mid perc layer sits on top of the drums to underline the track's harmony, given extra space through an ambient reverb and echo chain.

Tom Fill

The tom fill, built from two layered tom samples run through saturation and EQ, marks the transition into a more energetic part of the track, its descending pattern building momentum right before the section changes.

 Drums Fx

The whole drum group runs through a chain of stock Ableton plugins — delay, vocoder, phaser-flanger — creating the impression of a separate, flanged and phased loop playing on top, all built from stock tools.

The full arrangement — Intro, Chorus, Buildup, Verse, Chorus, Verse, Buildup, Chorus, Intermezzo, Outro — lays out acapella, drums, bass, sharp bass, reversed piano, seq monotone, flanged/choir/wide pads, synth stab, reversed pluck and FX, all mastered through a glue compressor, saturator and limiter. Like all TMA projects, the structure is built clearly and logically, making it easy to follow and easy to learn from.
