1) Drums

The drum and percussion section, built around a wide range of One-Shot Samples, replaces most of the traditional instrumentation and creates the core groove of the track, supported by subtle tonal accents from a few additional instruments. A Kick Roll Sample adds movement to the kick pattern, while a combination of tonal Synth Tom, rhythmic Massive Perc and tonal Perc Loop creates a hypnotic melodic line using percussion elements alone.

2) Bass 

The bass, built with a Serum Bass preset, uses just two notes, G → C, adding a low-frequency foundation to the percussion groove without introducing new melodic ideas and reinforcing the track’s hypnotic feel. Short riser bass fills add accents before different sections and bring extra movement to the arrangement, while the Vox layer combines a meditative syncopated pattern with smooth panning and filter automation, creating an additional evolving groove.

3) Fx

The Riser build-ups before the drop are created with three Serum 2 presets — LFO FX, Tonal Riser and Noise — using only Serum’s Macro automation with no additional plugins. These elements create effective transitions and can also serve as practical templates for further sound design. One-shot FX such as Noise 2 and Train Atmo appear only once throughout the track, creating memorable hooks and adding variation and character to the arrangement
