1) Bass

The main Bass line acts as the melodic foundation of the track, using just two notes, D, D#, with jumps across three octaves. Built from two Serum 2 presets, Bass 1 based on a saw wave and Bass 2 on a sine wave, both use short pluck-style envelopes and strong Kickstart sidechain. Together they create a fuller, tighter and more harmonically rich bass sound, while an additional Reese Bass adds groove accents at the end of the phrase, bringing variation through minimal changes.

2) Pluck & Fx

The Pluck preset in Serum 2, enhanced with Ableton Stock reverb, adds melodic detail in the upper frequencies using just two notes, D, F. Its shifted first hit creates an additional groove in the pre-drops and verses. Sweep and Sweep Down samples smooth and accelerate transitions, adding movement and variation, while a large Uplifter with reverb reinforces each drop.

3) Drums

The drums combine a classic four-on-the-floor groove with carefully placed percussion fills that lock tightly with the Bass, adding a more organic feel to the rhythm. Two 16th-note hat layers use Auto Pan and wide stereo positioning to give the drum groove more width and movement.
