Inside The Project Argy, Alok & Adam Beyer - Keep Up  Ableton Remake

1)Bass

The main bass is created with the Sub Bass preset in Serum 2, built from three waveforms — a smoothed saw, rounded square and analog curve. Extensive automation gives the repeating pattern continuous development and an organic feel without changing the notes throughout the track. It is complemented by the Bass preset, also built in Serum 2 from three modified waveforms and strong Kickstart sidechain, adding accents and reinforcing the groove.

2) Instruments

The Stab Argy preset adds extra accents that work tightly with the bass groove without simply repeating it. In the breakdown, Lead Argy plays a syncopated D → F → D# melody, with filter and noise oscillator automation gradually opening the sound and creating a riser into the pre-drop without additional instruments. In the drop, Pad 2 complements the lead in the upper frequencies, creating a wider melodic image while staying subtle and out of the way.

3)Drums

The classic drum groove is carefully enhanced with Clap 3 and its delay, Percussion, Open Hat Long and Roller Percussion, adding subtle development and extra dancefloor energy without unnecessary complexity. These elements complement the groove while keeping the focus on the syncopated bass and instruments. Classic Snare Rolls further build tension and emphasize the drops.

4)Full Project View

The project demonstrates how precise accents, effects and subtle additions can keep a track developing throughout its entire arrangement while maintaining a clear and well-balanced mix where every element remains easy to hear.

All TMA projects and templates feature a clean, professional arrangement, making it easy to understand the structure and explore MIDI, chords, Serum Presets, samples, sound design, automation and mixing techniques.
