Inside The Project OMNOM - Pressure (feat. Tommy Genesis)  Ableton Remake

1) Bass

The main Bass is built in Serum 2 using a single waveform and a strong Kickstart sidechain, with the upper frequencies almost completely removed. This keeps the low end tight and lets the bass lock naturally with the kick without taking attention away from it. A second layer, created with the Mid Bass preset in Serum 2, follows a slightly different accent pattern, adding another layer of groove on top of the low-end movement. Filter and macro automation smoothly brings it in and out of the arrangement.

2) Instruments

All instruments are created in Serum 2 without additional plugins, making the project easy to reuse and adapt. FM Synth uses automation to create aggressive movement within the drops, adding tension and energy to the track. The Stab preset, with automated effects, creates call-and-response accents around the drops, while precise Reso Pluck hits add variation to the melody in the higher frequencies.

3) Drums

The drums follow a classic four-on-the-floor pattern with minimal percussion, leaving more space for the instrumental groove and keeping the mix clean. Additional One-Shot accents such as Clap FX, Snare FX and Clap Fills appear only twice throughout the track, creating memorable hooks while maintaining the minimalist approach.

4) Full Project

This arrangement is a great example of how carefully chosen sounds can build the entire groove around a simple drum pattern without getting in the way. All instruments are fully created in Serum 2, making the project a useful source of inspiration and a practical template for your own productions.

All TMA projects and templates are built with a clean, professional and consistent arrangement, allowing you to quickly understand the structure and explore every production element — MIDI, notes, chords, Serum presets, samples, sound design techniques, automation and mixing approaches.
